Operational Status

Intake counters at the Clerk’s Office in Detroit, Flint and Bay City are open. Unrepresented filers may also file by mailing the documents to any of the three Clerk’s Office locations.

If Wayne County’s level of community transmission is rated “High”, then masks are required in common areas of the Detroit courthouse.

If Genesee County's level of community transmission is rated "High", then masks are required in common areas of the Flint courthouse.

If Bay County's level of community transmission is rated "High", then masks are required in common areas of the Bay City courthouse.

Masks and safety protocols for Chambers and courtrooms are at the discretion of the presiding judge.
