Electronic Proof of Claim (ePOC)

Proofs of claim in all cases and chapters can now be filed electronically without a login/password through the Court's website. ePOC will automatically prepare the official Bankruptcy Proof of Claim (410) form based upon the information entered into the program. The Court strongly encourages creditors to utilize this fast, free and efficient method of filing their proofs of claim.

Prior to filing your proof of claim, please have the following information ready:

  • Case Number
  • The address(s) where notices from the Court and payments from the Trustee should be sent (if different than the noticing address)
  • Claim Amount
  • Supporting documentation (if any) in pdf format with personal identifiers properly redacted (Fed. R. Bankr. P. 9037(a) and LBR 9037-1(a))

To amend a proof of claim select the creditor that filed the original claim. (You will use the same “Submit a Proof of Claim” process) After you have selected the creditor that filed the original claim, check the “amended claims” checkbox located under the creditor information. Click the drop down arrow next to the “Court Claim Number” to select the claim you are amending. (Please note that the date that the claim was filed will automatically populate the form) Complete the remainder of the form.
