NOTICE REGARDING CHIEF JUDGE

The term of Judge Steven W. Rhodes as Chief Bankruptcy Judge ended on April 24,

2009. The United States District Court has appointed Judge Phillip J. Shefferly to serve as our new Chief Judge, for a three-year term beginning April 25, 2009.

All of the judges and staff of our court profoundly appreciate the work of Judge Rhodes as our Chief Judge for the last seven years. His energetic, thoughtful, and selfless efforts have greatly benefitted our Court, the bar, and the public we all serve. We thank him very much.

We also thank Judge Shefferly for his willingness to serve as our new Chief Judge. We look forward to his tenure with the utmost confidence that he will do a splendid job.
