NOTICE TO BANKRUPTCY PRACTITIONERS REGARDING THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE

Local Bankruptcy Rule 1007-2 specifies that when the Internal Revenue Service is listed
as a creditor, the matrix shall include the address of the Special Procedures Branch of the Internal
Revenue Service located at Detroit, Michigan. The Court has been advised that the Special
Procedures unit no longer exists and the Internal Revenue Service has provided a new address for
bankruptcy notices.
Pursuant to Administrative Order No. 03-12, L.B.R. 1007-2 (E.D.M.) is amended to state
“When the Internal Revenue Service is listed as a creditor, the matrix shall include the
address of the SBSE/Insolvency Unit of the Internal Revenue Service located at Box
330500-Stop 15, Detroit, Michigan, 48232. All other requirements of L.B.R. 1007-2 (E.D.M.)
shall remain the same.

This amendment is effective immediately.
