Pro Bono Information

The pro bono program provides legal services to debtors involved in adversary proceedings related to the discharge and non-dischargeability of certain debts. The program also provides service to an indigent former- spouse of a debtor regarding the dischargeability of obligations in the judgment of divorce.

Referrals to the pro bono program are made at the request of the Bankruptcy Judge assigned to the adversary proceeding or at the written request of the debtor or former-spouse of a debtor. Attorneys who have volunteered their services under this program are then contacted for assignment to the adversary proceeding.

A party in need of pro bono services should submit a request to:

You may use this form to submit a request: Pro Bono Application Form
