ECF System 4.1/4.2 Upgrade Information
The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan has upgraded the ECF system to the latest version, Release 4.2 (including major release 4.1). Please be aware that this is a significant system upgrade, requiring a password change when logging in for the first time.
Internet Browsers Firefox 3.5 and Internet Explorer 7 and 8 have been tested and work correctly with the new release. Mozilla Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 6 are no longer supported.
Release 4.1 of the ECF system includes the following features and enhancements:
- Adversary Case Opening
- County Codes
- Email Enhancements
- Filing Fees
- Filing a Proof of Claim
- Password Security Enhancements
- Query Cases

- 11/29 Presentation
- Notice of Completion of Plan
- 341 Meetings - Individual
- 341 Meetings - Continue Multiple Meetings
Release 4.2 of the ECF system includes modifications associated with the Federal Rule changes that go into effect December 1, 2011. The Court has posted a separate Notice regarding these amendments. That Notice includes the new CM/ECF events accompanying the 4.2 upgrade.
